Island Charleston by Facing West
I think this is my favorite photo in the album. I just think it is so cool and serves as a barometer of the times.
Charleston! Boy! by Facing West
I like the fads of yesterday, or at least thinking about them in the historical perspective and not necessarily the fads themselves. How something can enter into the populace mindset and just multiply is a psychological phenomena worth a study. I’m glad they are just fads and not something lasting. Can you imagine us doing the Charleston today, while the women wear Dorothy Hamill short and sassy haircuts with hideous Carol Brady pantsuits and the men with raccoon coats and cowboy hats that hide our three piece white suits that hang half way off our ass? It’s good that fads are transitory.

Breaking Bones by Darren Pearson / Darius Twin
These bones inside of us weren’t just meant for holding our bodies up, they were also designed to git’ our bodies down. Darren’s light painting may be missing some skin and cardboard laid out on the ground, but this skeleton’s bones damn well know how to move.
